Rejoice! Martin O'Neill has come out and said that Owen is not coming to Villa! I believe that man! Looks like Everton will be getting him instead! Look elsewhere MON!

Instead, it is rumoured that Villa's after Sylvain Distin instead, at a cut-price of 2million pounds! Not that we desperately need another centre-back (Davies, Knight and Cuellar at the club already), decent amount for an experienced pro who nearly made the French team on many occasions.

Prob a couple of good years in him left, we might just need that bit of experience and leadership at the back, but that would mean forcing out 2 centre-backs for most of the season!

I would like to hear more rumours regarding our midfield and forwards please! And oh, a good right-back too please!
